The Spring (or Vernal) equinox happened just two days ago and we are already experiencing trees beginning to display vibrant blooms!

Of course, with the resplendent blooms come seasonal allergies but the views and subsequent propagation (not to mention BEES!) is worth the side effects of antihistamines.
When Spring makes its exuberant entrance, it flings open the door of dormant life and tells all the stuff that’s been hibernating, “Wake up! It’s time!”
In addition to new life, blooms and the general sense of starting over, I look forward to Easter. In my walk of faith, it’s the pinnacle of the year. Not only do we celebrate our reason for the holiday, but Easter has always been so full of color! Like nature springing back to life from a cold winter, Easter means US coming back to life after death. So bring on the color!

And a final favorite thing, to me, about Easter – how whimsical and fun it can be! I took some time making up some darling Easter egg bunnies (pattern by Little Mee Creations on tumblr) and had fun making a little video with them and their friend, Carrot (pattern by My Amigurumi Farm).
What’s your favorite characteristic of Spring?
Bunnies (and carrot) will be available in my etsy shop to ship before Easter!
Happy Spring!
